- It's the one day that we don't use the computer, the Wii, the gameboys, we try not to watch TV but sometimes (mama needs a break and) we like to watch America's Funniest Videos and Extreme makeover: Home Edition together as a family.
- My children are all home at the same time.
- We talk.
- They're resourceful and creative.
- They play together.
- We talk.
- They build forts and play board games.
- They cook their own food.
- We talk.
- I give them foot rubs and pedicures.
- We snuggle on my bed, read books, laugh and talk some more.
And for one day a week, time stands still and my children aren't getting older. They still love me and each other. And I understand more deeply why we consider Sundays to be a Holy day.
Mr. E waiting on his customers at his and Liv's little Cafe'.
G-man's Winter Warehouse. Because this is our one-car garage that we've converted into a play room and it's cold in there! He cleaned and organized, then tagged everything (all the orange post-its) in anticipation of his Grand Opening. They used play money to buy things in the store and Cafe'. They would go back and forth between the store and cafe' buying things. When someone ran out of money, G-man would hire them to help him in his store so they could make more money to buy things. Sweet Pea loved that because she was the first one to spend all her money. However, she didn't like it when he turned into the Tax Man and demanded everyone pay their taxes!

Rachel, That brought tears to my eyes. I want to feel more of that on Sunday. I'm committing to following your guidelines now on Sundays. Thanks for the motivation. You are such a wonderful mom!
