Because once is not enough!

Hubby's State to Gate adventure (back in Dec) was orginally planned to do with a friend. However, the friend wasn't ready so hubby did it alone. Well, on Monday the friend was ready to give it a try so off they went. Proof is in the pictures!

They rode for 7 hours 35 minutes. With a total distance of 102 miles. So do you think this was enough? Of course not. Now they want to bike to Lake Tahoe!

Unfortunately, this was the end of the road for them. Hubby's friend had 3 flat tires toward the end. They were only about 15 miles short of their goal. Notice the name of the street where they stopped? Now, with 3 flat tires you wouldn't think that was lucky but when they called to tell us they were stopping we were less than 5 min away from the exit! Lucky for us!

7 o'clock in the morning. They couldn't have asked for better weather. On second thought, maybe they did??!!!

Can't forget my b-day, surrounded by all of my kiddos!
