Last night as I was getting the kids ready for bed, I reminded Little A to say his prayers. I came back in his room to see him kneeling by his bed saying Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.....
I don't think that counts.

Tahoe (check)
Well, hubby can check one more goal off his "to do" list. On Monday, he successfully biked to Lake Tahoe. He started out a little after 7am and 12 hours later he was crossing the state line. The distance was 121 miles. Which is only 4 more miles than what he did biking to the Golden Gate Bridge, however, Tahoe is much higher in elevation. Imagine the calories he burned! It's like free eating for the next couple days! (I gotta get me a bike!)
All in all everything went well with no problems. Mr. E and Little A went with me to pick him up.

More Birthday Wishes
Happy Birthday hubby. We managed to give him breakfast in bed and a quick birthday song before almost everyone was out the door. G-man, of course, was already gone to seminary. The kids and I will have to celebrate without him tonight because he's working the evening shift this week. It's a good thing he prefers a low-key birthday because that's exactly what he's getting..
We still love you!

Deal of day
Sorry it's sideways I was too lazy to change it.

I know I've mentioned my beginning couponing. I've been doing quite well, my last two grocery shopping trips I've saved over $16.oo each trip. Today my deals were found at Target. Now I'm an "on sale" Target shopper only. I usually shop Walmart because it's closer and overall have better deals, however, today I had a great coupon I couldn't pass up, so a trip to Target was well worth for it me. Target will have their own coupons on products and will also honor manufacture coupons on top of their own. So with that said, I went in to buy the above shown razors, I found their regular price to be 6.49 Target had a $4 off coupon, I had a $3 off coupon, So they were free. I found that the 409 and the shaving cream were also on sale plus I had coupons for them so my grand total for this purchase was $3.67. $2.96 before tax (Ca has the astronomical tax amount of 8.75%) I saved $10.16 Definitely worth my time and the gas it took to get there.
Celebrating Mr. E
I know I'm over a week late in posting this but I'm having an internal temper tantram and haven't taken the time.(more about another time) But that's no excuse to neglect my Mr. E!!!
Wow! He's 10. Every child's birthday seems like a slap in the face. "Wake up, Your child is growing up!" One thing I am grateful for is that my Mr. E is growing up slowly. He is such a sweet little boy. I love his personality. He is naturally happy. He is always smiling. It is pure joy listening to his laugh which he does often and enjoys making other people laugh as well. Although he is usually a quite person, he has much energy and is a diligent worker. I am so grateful to have him in our family. I love you Mr. E! Hope you had a great birthday!
These nerf guns are so much fun. The only downfall are the bullets are stuck on every flat surface of my house and usually in places that I can't reach!
