A day at the beach

This is our way of playing hooky. After being away from our children for almost 3 weeks, we needed a family day. We try to go to the beach at least once a year, so last week we let Mr. E and Sweet Pea ( I'm switching child #4 nickname)skip school and we went to Natural Bridges State Park. We had so much fun even if it wasn't very warm, as you can tell, I'm the one wrapped in a towel. I was freezing! That didn't stop the kids or hubby from getting in the water. We like it here because it has these great tide pools with all sorts of sea critters in them. The kids were even so lucky to see a dolphin.
This was a fun game. G-man would throw food and it was Mr. E's job to keep the seagulls away by doing a crazy dance.
Little A loved to out run the waves.

When we were all beached out we went up the road to Santa Cruz so our kids could have a boardwalk experience. We lucked out with the rides, after 5 it was only a ticket a ride. Bonus!
Great way to spend the day.

This is a fun video, watching Little A out run the waves.
